Manado, Bunaken and Meet the Tribe of Polahi and wildlife of Nantu Forest

Duration: 15 Days/ 14 Nights

Itinerary:

Day 01.Arrive – Manado City Tour

Upon arrival at Sam Ratulangi Manado airport, transfer to Manado for city tour, visiting : “Ban Hing Kiong” the oldest Chinese temple in East Indonesia,

located at the China town of Manado, Bersehati Fish market, Boulevard st the center of Biz in Manado.

Day 02 Manado : Minahasa Highland Tour

After breakfast, we will driving up to the Minahasa Highlands. We will visit Tomohon a small town situated between two active volcanoes with its unique local market which sells dog rats, bats and snake meat. Afterwards visit Wolaoan village to see how traditional Minahasa wooden houses are constructed and visit Tondano. Lunch served in a restaurant near Tondano Lake, the biggest lake in the province. After lunch visiting Pulutan where things like potteries and made of clay, Linow lake is a changing color lake with panoramic surroundings. Late afternoon back to your hotel. Overnight at Minahasa* (Deluxe room) / Quality hotel***(Superior room)

Day 03 Manado – Tangkoko

After breakfast, then we take you for the Tangkoko Rain Forest Tour. Tangkoko is located in a mountain and is a protected rainforests with varied flora and fauna. Here you can see rare animals such as the Macaca Nigra, Hornbill and Tarsius Spectrum, the smallest monkey in the world. Afternoon walk. Overnight at Tangkoko Lodge (Standard AC room)

Day 04 Tangkoko – Bunaken

Early morning walk, return to hotel for breakfast then you will be transferred to Manado Harbor and crossing by motorized wooden boat (Sharing boat) to the island of Bunaken, where you can see one of the world most beautiful sea gardens. Dinner and overnight at Bunaken village (fan garden room)

Day 08 Bunaken – Manado – Gorontalo

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Manado, drive directly to Gorontalo passing Amurang, Inobonto, Lolak and Kwandang. Lunch will be served en route. Along the way you’ll have nice panorama of plantations (Cloves, Cinnamon,etc), paddy fields, beaches, fisherman village and local life style. Late afternoon arrive in Gorontalo, check in at the hotel.

Day 09.Gorontalo – Paguyaman

After having breakfast, Transfert to the region of Paguyaman, than start trecking to the jungle with 2 porter, lunch enroute continue trecking to the tribe of polahi. diner and night in local house, you will see 3 house in this place.

Day 10.live with Polahi

After breakfast simple, we will go with polahi to hunt the pig or deer in the forest, or catch the fish. lunch sin simple way. back to the head of the tribe's house. diner and night in local house.

Day 11.Polahi - Nantu Forest.

after breakfast, we will treck back to the same route to take car, and continue drive to Nantu forest.afterwards drive directly to Nantu forest. Lunch will then be served en route. Arrive in Nantu village you’ll have free at leisure.

Day 12.Full Day Nantu Forest Tour

After early breakfast at the cottage, you’ll have full day tour in Nantu forest to see the Pig deer from observation place or from the place that the ranger will takes you. Beside the Pig deer, some times there is also Anoa (Dwarf Buffalo) come and drink in mud puddles among the Pig deers !

Day 13.(Same Program as day 04)

Day 14.Nantu Forest – Gorontalo

After b’fast at the cottage, return to Gorontalo for to have a City tour of Gorontalo. Check in at the hotel in Gorontalo.

Day 15.Gorontalo – Manado

After early breakfast at the hotel, transfert to the Airport of Gorontalo and you will take flight for the next destination.

Toraja Daily Tour Programme

4 Days / 3 Nights

Day 01 : Arrival Airport - Toraja

Upon arrival at Hasanuddin Airport Ujung Pandang , meeting services. Afterwards, set out on the picturesque drive to Toraja. Lunch at a seafood restaurant in Pare-Pare, precedes a scenic drive with many photo-stops en route. In the afternoon, we will have a coffee-break on the Puncak Lakawan. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 02 : Toraja Tour

After breakfast, a full day exploring Toraja. First visit Lemo to see rows of Tau Tau statues and hanging graves. Suaya the cliff graves then Londa, to see an ancient grave where the deceased are entombed. At Kete Kesu we can see Tongkonan, old rice barns, and traditional woodcarving. Lunch will be served in Rantepao. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 03 : Toraja Trecking

After breakfast, we set out on a full day trip to Batutumonga, enjoying superb views over Rantepao and surrounding valleys. Treck through a village of Tampan, you will treck through the rice field and some small rivier, very beautiful panorama until the village of Tinimbayo. Lunch picnic will be served in the village . Dinner and overnight in Traditional House Tongkonan in the hill of the Mountain.

Day 04 : Toraja - Airport

After breakfast, transfer back to Makassar. Lunch in Pare-Pare, afterwards transfer directly to Hasanuddin Airport Makassar to catch the flight for your next destination.
