Day
1 : Arrival Bali / Sanur
Upon arrival at Ngurah Rai international airport of Bali, transfer to Hotel
Puri Kelapa in Sanur. Rest of the day free on your own.
Hotel Puri Kelapa Bali is a beautiful garden cottages hotel with its own
swimming pool and all amenities as in star Hotel. The room is set at a
courtyard, mostly around the swimming pool. The famous Sanur Beach is 5 minutes
walking and you can enjoy many type of restaurants set by the beach.
Day 2 : Bali Sanur – Full Day Barong Dance & Temple
Tours
Breakfast at Hotel. Fullday Kintamani Volcano Tour, highlight of this tour of
the magnificent view of the Mount Batur and its Caldera Lake Batur, with he
smoky Mount Agung in the Background. Enroute stop at Batu Bulan to watch the
Barong and Keris Dance, Celuk the center of gold and silver, Mas the center of
wood carving, Ubud the center of paintings, Goa Gajah and the holy springs
Tirta empul “ at Tampak Siring.
Day 3 : Sanur - Munduk
In the morning you will be picked up by private car, driver and Dutch or
English speaking guide and taken to the small Balinese village of Munduk in
northern part of Bali on a altitude of around 700 m . There are plenty of
interesting stops on the way, like Balinese temples and short walk through the
country side.Your hotel in Munduk is surrounded by rice fields and astonishing
views.
Overnight in Hotel Puri Lumbung (luxerous cottages). From hotel you have
beautiful views over the valleys & the mountains.
Day 4 : Munduk Trekking
Today you will explore the unspoiled area around Tamblingan lake and the rice
terraces of Munduk. You will be walking for around 5 hours through primary
forests, along the lakeshore of Tamblingan, through some villages often
enjoying beautiful views. This area is not often visited by tourists.Overnight
in Hotel Puri Lumbung (luxerous cottages).
Day 5 : Munduk - Lovina
Via a nice mountainous route you will reach Lovina within around 2 hours. A
stop at the Gitgit waterfall is included as well.
Overnight in Bali Taman Resort. Luxurious cottages near the beach.
Day 6 : Lovina
Snorkeling, diving near Lovina or Menjangan islands or spotting dolphins.
Overnight in Bali Taman Resort.
Day 7 : Lovina - Amed
After breakfast you will be transferred to the small village of Amed following
the slopes of the Agung mountain. Amed is one of the several small fishing
villages located on a long stretch of black sand beach on the eastside of Bali.
In contrast of a lot of other Bali beaches Amed has remained it’s rural
atmosphere and numbers of accommodation and visitors is limited. Snorkeling and
diving is great here, you find some of the best diving spots here. Fishermen
catch there fish everyday in colorful boats and in the dry season a part of the
beach is used for processing sea salt.
Day 8 : Amed - Padangbai - Senaru
Early morning you will drive to the harbour of Padangbai and take the 7.30 am
boat to Lembar on Lombok. The ferry crossing will take around 4-5 hours. After
lunch at the village of Suranadi (forest and a pool with natural spring water)
you will drive in around 2 hours to the mountain village of Senaru. Senaru is
situated at the foot of the Rinjani mountain. It is surrounded by rice fields
and allows for goods views of the Rinjani. This part of Lombok is still very
traditional and not often visited by tourists.
Overnight at Pondok Senaru.
Simple but clean rooms (no hot water in bathroom) and beautiful views.
Day 9 : Senaru - Labuan Pandang
In the morning you will make a very nice trekking via forest, agriculture
fields, ricefields and small traditional villages. After lunch you will
continue your way to the Labuan Pandan, on the east coast of Lombok. Here you
will find several small island with coral in good condition (better condition
than near the Gili islands).
Overnight in Pondok Matahari
Several simple but nice cottages near the beach. Starting from this year the
hotel has dive facilities.
DAY 10 : Labuan Pandang - Tetebatu
Near the coast of Labuan Pandan are a number of islands with beautiful coral.
You travel to one of these islands by small boat for snorkelling. The local
people call this place the ‘Heavenly Sea’. After lunch you drive to Loang Gali,
a village where the population makes their living by making tiles and bricks.
You can watch a traditional dance performance. The entire village will come to
greet you! You can also take a walk through the village to a water spring. You
stay in Tetebatu, a village on the other side of the Rinjani at a height of 800
metres.
Day 11 : Tetabatu
In the morning you take a walk of about three hours through the rice and
tobacco fields around Tetebatu. You end in Pringgasela, a village where almost
all women know the art of weaving. You will be served a real ‘Sasak’-meal
(incl.) and watch the process of songket weaving. Then you will drive to
Masbagik, a village where people make pottery by traditional methods. In Loyok
you can watch the process of basket weaving.
Day 12 : Tetebatu - Tanjung Luar - Senggigi
Early in the morning you will visit the fish market in Tanjung Luar. This is
one of the most important fish ports of Lombok. Many Buginese houses: a very
photogenic place. Then on towards Keruak; here people make fishing boats. On
the way back to Senggigi we pay a visit to the water palace of Narmada.
Day 13 & 14 : Senggigi - Free On Your Own
DAY 15 : Senggigi - Your Next Destination
After having breakfast at the hotel, free at leisure until departure time.
Transfer to the port (Airport / Sea Port) for your other destination
